Hampton Inn Toledo/Oregon

We were on a road trip from WI to Cleveland and we picked Toledo as a good place to stop for the night before finishing the last leg. We arrived about 3a so I'm very happy digital key was offered. We were pretty much zombies and the hotel wasn't that close to the freeway exit our GPS told us to take - so it was nice to stumble into our room and use the phone as the key. The room was decent and the breakfast hot the next morning. We were only there for about 8 hours, but Hilton hasn't disappointed us yet.

My co-workers and I stayed here 3 separate times for work training. Each time was for a week. The staff is wonderful and extremely friendly, however, housekeeping seems to be less than adequate. The rooms didn't seem to be thoroughly cleaned before check in. When the front desk was informed, we were told it would be taken care of. Breakfast was pretty good, no complaints. There is a small pool and a small (2 or 3 person) hot tub, as well as a fitness room. I'm giving it 4 stars because the staff is cool, everytime we had an issue it was solved and they offered us different things for our troubles. Hotel is in a nice location, in a decent part of town. Plenty of restaurants and stores close by.

We had a great stay! Hotel was clean, up dated, comfortable, and accommodating. In room air was a little loud but not enough to ruin our stay. The pool area was awesome and so was the breakfast.

Great location with so many food choices within a short walk. Very quiet, thought we were only people there till breakfast in the morning. Kids had fun swimming in the pool.
