Hampton Inn McHenry

Great place to stay! The rooms are nice and the breakfast had decent choices. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Bob at the front desk. Bob was able to make the changes needed so that we could have rooms near each other and the elevator to accommodate our elderly mother. We will definitely be staying there again.

I actually enjoyed staying in this hotel. Everything was nice and clean. My kids enjoyed the pool. Front desk and house keeping was nice and friendly. The breakfast was amazing they have a good variety of food. They even gave a full size candy to my kids. My experience was a very positive one. I would definitely recommend this hotel to people you wont regret it!

Room was clean and smelled clean. Pool is heated 88 degrees. Breakfast is from 6-10, food was good but ran out of items before 9 so get there early. Overall good stay. My only complaint is the noise from the heater or some kind of machinery all night. Very loud but maybe we just had bad luck with room placement.

I really love this hotel! The staff is wonderful Julie & Chris are both lovely, and the rooms are clean and comfy! The breakfast is yummy in the mornings and overall I love the vibe of this hotel. I’ve stayed here several times and will be back!

Hotel is either new or newly renovated. Very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Would have given 5 stars if the breakfast was better and it wasn't so remote. I've had better breakfast in other Hampton Inns. Hotel is about 15 mins from McHenry Community College and we passed several corn fields before our Lyft driver arrived in Crystal Lakes.
