I am grateful for the proximity of the library to my home. I am able to go simply to read a book without any distractions, or if I need to finish some work there is space there that I can use. I simply love visiting.
I like it here. The workers are mostly friendly. It's not a cozy small town feeling library that I prefer but good for kids and very large
I cannot say enough great things about the Hampton library. My granddaughter enjoys so many amazing activities here and they are all free of charge. How wonderful is that? She is receiving ukelele lessons, enjoying in house dress up parades, attended events with live animal displays and story reading times. This is a lively, exuberant children's area and the people are kind and gracious. We are so thankful for their efforts
Free meeting rooms available. Tons and tons of books and dvds are also available. The childrens section is huge and it has one of the largest graphic novel sections Ive seen in a library locally. The adult section and nonfiction section is also huge. The upstairs contains the computers and adult books. Everything is conveniently located as well. The friends of the library gift shop and book sales are inside and are definitely worth checking out. Such good deals.
Upstairs, Ms. Rita and Mr. Mike were the nicest, most helpful people I have encountered at any establishment in the area for a while now. There was also a young lady at the front desk that was very helpful and professional as well. This has been my most pleasant experience at any business in Hampton for quite some time. Keep up the good work!!!
Been going to the Hampton Main Street Library for many years. The staff is wonderful and love helping you. And they remember me bringing my granddaughter as a little one, who is now 15 and has her own library card. So happy they opened up the inside. It is only an hour now and they do temperature checks but soon it will be longer. Can't wait to introduce my younger grandchildren to the fun activities they host. Love it!
Staff is very nice and helpful. It does have the appearance of being clean but it does smell. Last time I was there a year ago downstairs with my daughter there was a lot of noise and running around by younger children. No one said anything. But, the staff and their helpfulness is very important.
Brought my 2yr old grandson for his1st library visit. Everyone was so sweet . He hasn't mastered his inside voice yet but they were very understanding. Thank you
Very nice staff and pleasant environment! Easy to reach any branch and great selection of books!
The people here are super nice. They remember the books I wanted, even months later. They always take time to help me when I ask : The place is clean, thing are organized, it's big, has a lot of books about space which I like, and they get new books all the time! :
