Found out about this place on the jerky subreddit. Man I'm glad I did. Ordered 4.5lbs of jerky on a Tuesday afternoon and it was at my door Friday morning. Oh yea, it's also delicious. The packaging is great, double bagged and vacuum sealed. Will be perfect for camping, skiing and fishing trips.nnMight have to take a road trip out to cold Lake and see what other products they have!nnI will definitely be ordering again once I make my way through the remaining 4lbs I have

This family run business has been around for a long time because of their fresh outstanding product, super friendly knowledgeable staff , never have to wait for service , the horseradish cheese and cheese smokies are the best I've ever had, stocked up with 10lbs of bacon for our freezer and my pup will be very excited for her frozen pigs ears , this is the best butcher shop in northern Alberta , second to none!!!
My nephew asked for this for Christmas . We live in Edmonton and he lives Ontario .nMy husband was going this weekend . I called on Saturday am and they shipped it out Monday and arrived by Wednesday. Great service !!
Hands down the best beef jerky ever ! I was totally feeling homesick after having spent 13 years in Cold Lake while my husband was stationed there . Never knew that Hamels would ship across Canada till my husband decided to place an order and surprise us by having it shipped all the way to Nova Scotia . Super fast shipping too and was well worth it . Now if I could order steaks from them too I totally would and have them shipped . We have butcher shops here in the Halifax area too but they don’t compare to the quality and the service that we have always gotten from Hamels Meats in Cold Lake . Will be definitely ordering again soon
