We have called this service on 3 separate occasions to get us to the airport. They never showed up EACH TIME. When we called to find out their ETA, they said they'd be there in 10 min. Had to call again and they repeated the same thing. It was obvious they weren't coming. We ended up driving our own vehicle and paying expensive parking at the airport so we wouldn't miss our flight. Extremely unreliable and frankly the operator didn't care at all. 3 strikes you're out. We are NEVER calling them again and have warned everyone we know. Terrible service
If I could give a ZERO rating I would. Totally irresponsible, non dependable taxi service! Opened an account to pick my daughter from school. After paying an arm and a leg - did not show up on a rainy day! Rude operators not giving their names and blaming management for everything! Customer service at their worst! Badly kept cars and unhygienic completely! Please please stay away from this taxi service !
I have used Halton taxi many times for trips to the airport. On my latest trip I required a van as I had a lot of heavy luggage. When our driver Tony arrived he came to the front door and took care of loading all the luggage. At the airport he parked and I was looking around for him and was surprised to find that he had gone and picked up 2 carts for us to transport the luggage. As mentioned I've used Halton Taxi many times and been satisfied but this time the service was exceptional.
Always 15-20 minutes late. I called them specifically to show up on time on a specific occasion since my daughter would have no way of contact due to a phone issue. they didn’t even show up. Worst taxi service ever save your money.
I had called on behalf of a severely debilitated man not needing a wheelchair van however sitting outside the ER entrance to Milton District Hospital. As this gentleman had a Halton Taxi pre-paid chit given to him by the hospital I called that company instead of a Milton cab service. The person I spoke to possessed poor communication skills, their English wasn't sufficiently developed for effectively communicating with the public, was argumentative, aggressive, disrespectful, refused to send a cab and hung up on me. I called back stating the person I'd just spoken to was rude, ignorant, disrespectful and hung up on me. The person answering indicated they were that person. I said all I'm trying to do is order a taxi for this man. I indicated that somebody with better communication and interpersonal skills should be doing the job and that if I was the supervisor the person would be fired. The person said they were the manager, was rude again and hung up again. How is this company even in business?
Courteous, clean cars, and on-time. About the same price as a Uber ... until Uber put their prices up - now a great deal!
We booked a wheelchair taxi to take my mother and some friends to and from her 100th birthday celebration. Tony called to confirm times and arrived early for both trips. He was considerate with my mum. We were also able to get another taxi quickly when someone needed to leave the party early. Good service. Would use AAA Halton Taxi again.
Excellent service. Great price. The person answering the phone was really pleasant and well-spoken, patient and helpful when I enquired initially about pricing and availability. When I called back, great again. The car was really quick getting to my home. The driver called me as he arrived which was perfect. The car was very clean and comfortable. The driver was lovely. He was friendly, not too friendly, professional, well-spoken, intelligent and efficient in getting me to my destination and in handling the payment. I love this taxi service!!!
Horrible customer service. Used it for my dads appointments, and the driver decided not to come and they were arguing that they are gonna charge for today even though we would not make the appointment. They are now threatening to charge us even though we didn’t get a ride. Would not recommend.
Hello dear owner of this company I had tony as my driver. I had asked him to make a quick stop for my 2 year old daughter who needed her diaper changed and he refused and said “I can’t make a stop I have money to make tell her to hold it is” how can a 2 year old hold it in. He was very disrespectful and rude I would fire him if I could
