The Public Gardens are always a treat, but there’s something extra nice about heading through in fall when the dahlias are in full bloom. It’s such a well-maintained, serene pocket right in the middle of the city center. Got a hot drink at the coffee shop and spent a relaxing morning soaking in the gardens. Always worth taking a quick detour through here. Definitely one of those timeless spots in the city that always hits the mark.
Perfectly pleasant place to spend some time, well worth it. Beautiful flowers a trees in a great setting. Ponds with ducks are a wonderful addition. Fountains are so elegant and a delight. They have washrooms and a nice cafe to rest by and gaze upon the splendor! Recommend
This is a wonderful and beautiful garden. I could not get enough of how beautiful and intentional every space was. Peaceful and yet active. Restrooms were clean too. I am grateful such a place even exists.
Nice place to spend some time if you like plants, and those who have spent time cultivating them. There are many walking paths and a few water features breaking up the greenery. Say hi to the ducks, but don't feed them. There is a cafe in the south portion of the park where you can buy a drink or some ice cream to enjoy as you stroll. Best of all admission to the park if free!

It is one of the finest surviving examples of a Victorian garden in North America, and stepping through the historic iron gates feels like entering another era.nThe layout is stunning, featuring immaculate floral displays, winding gravel paths, beautiful fountains, and a classic central bandstand that often hosts live music. It’s incredibly well-maintained, with a massive variety of trees, vibrant flowerbeds, and a lovely pond where you can watch the ducks.nThere is also a cozy little coffee shop on-site if you want to grab a drink or a treat while you stroll. Whether you want to find a quiet bench to read, take beautiful photographs, or just enjoy a peaceful walk, this green oasis is the perfect place to unwind. Highly recommended!
