The Haliburton Highlands Museum tells the story of the area from the earliest settlers right up to the present day.
Nestled away quietly behind the shores of Head Lake on Museum Road in Glebe Park, the story of Haliburton awaits you. Our main museum building features a variety of exhibits, while Reid House built in the 1880s depicts everyday life over 100 years ago. Our log buildings, open in the summer months, include a working blacksmith's forge and a variety of other structures.
