As of Sep 6 2022 you do need a mask to go into this store still, we didn't have one with us and the lady gave us some which was very kind of her, but just so you know cause we didn't! Great little spot absolutely jam packed with stuff, mostly Asian written but had a pretty good selection of English written books too. Lots of little merch and figures and things. Definitely be back in the future
I was surprised with a lot of different Japanese materials here. I also had a nice book shopping because of its interesting selection of new and old books. It is also comfortable inside and had a good ambiance. My sister loves manga and I brought her random ones and she loved it. The owner is very friendly and would recommend a lot of good books.
Interesting selection of both collector condition and used Japanese merch! They consign so it’s also good to downsize your stuff. I even found some zoids there!
The owner is very kind, don't be afraid to have a conversation with them if its not busy in there!
A very good selection of both new and pre-owned sets, along with some random Tamiya & Hasegawa model kits. The compact and 'filled to the brim' layout is similar to some manga shops in Japan. Last but not least, a very friendly and helpful Lady boss!

Spent way more than I was planning here haha but it was such a lovely shopping experience. The shop is tight and there's lots to look at. Amazing selection. I ended up finding 2 hard to find volumes I'd been looking for. Owner is lovely, she had lots of recommendations and was great to talk to.
Could not recommended this store enough! Stocked full of manga both old and new as well as a wealth of cool trinkets, movies, and magazines. The lady who runs it is a absolute gem and is very helpful, checking in the back for additional mangas I wanted that weren't on the shelf and having them! Overall a great experience and will definitely be back. Support local and check out half-moon :
I totally recommend this store! The lady who runs it is not only sweet, but also extremely knowledgable when it comes to manga. She gave me some really good recommendations and overall was really fun to talk to. The store had a really good selection of manga in Japanese and English, and the prices were reasonable. Will definitely be coming back!
Had a wonderful conversation with the friendly and knowledgeable operator. Just like a used bookstore in Tokyo it made me miss Japan!
