*** At Haley Street, our participants enjoy the woodworking department to fabricate wood pallets, survey stakes, kindling and other products to serve the needs of our community. The service not only provides excellent training opportunities for our participants, but also fills a need for wood products in the CBRM region.
*** The Centre has recently opened a Thrift store. “ Nora’s New to You” is located downtown Sydney Mines. The store is open Tuesday to Saturday 10-4 pm
The store accepts donations of good used clothing, accessories and household items. They can be dropped off at the store during regular hours or at the Centre from Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 3:30pm.
