I was on a business trip and craved for Japanese food. Googled the best Japanese restaurant in Maple Ridge and all the reviews were correct. Hako sushi is a newly opened restaurant right beside Save on. Their food was delicious the service was fast and price were reasonable. Highly recommended and definitely coming back if Im in Maple Ridge area.
Amazing place! Everything was amazing. It all tasted great but their specialty is the aburi sushi. A must try! I wish them nothing but success and I know it will come soon because the food is good and fresh! Great presentation and details on their dish. Texture meets flavour!

I’ve done both dine-in and takeout from here in the past couple days. Food was delicious and presentation was beautiful! Staff are super friendly, restaurant is clean and they use really nice cardboard takeout containers :Food: 5/5
What a surprise to find this place. I didn't expect to have that delicious sushi because I had no plan to eat. I just wanted to have a quick bite before going camping. The server recommended the special rollI forgot the name.. was literally amazing. I will always stop here to have their special roll and oshi while I will be heading to Golden ears !
We had an appointment in Maple Ridge and decided to find a place to grab a bite nearby. After reading some stellar reviews, we settled on this particular restaurant. To my pleasant surprise, the food turned out to be absolutely amazing! I can't recommend Hako Sushi enough; it truly was the best! During our visit, my boyfriend curiously asked about the meaning of "Hako." As it turns out, it translates to "box," which perfectly describes their signature Oshi sushi, prepared in a unique box style. The only downside was that I wished Hako Sushi was located closer to my home in Vancouver.
