Made 1 appointment, got 2 calls to reschedule, them day of appointment I get call that doctor not available. No problem so book again and get call day before that doctor nit available so went elsewhere. Not good customer service
I had something irritating my eye the other day and called around to different optometrists to see if I could come in that day to get it looked at. Every place I called was full, but the staff at Hakim asked their doctor to come in early to take a look at my eye even though he was fully booked. He took care of my issue and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be coming back here for my future eye exams. Thanks guys!
The two ladies who gave me a hand chosing my glasses and then fitting them when they came in are wonderful. Simply put they gave some of the best customer service I've had in a long time. Thanks for making sure my purchasing experience went so well and for providing some sound advice for my concerns with my new prescription! Also no hassles with receiving my purchase. And the prescription came in correctly. Very happy with the glasses I purchased.
I have had nothing but issues with this location. My glasses have come back twice with the wrong prescription. They have blamed my optometrist both times. My prescription is fine. I have had glasses from other shops that work fine. They have drug this out for over six weeks. They do not give refunds, so I am over $300 out of pocket and do not have glasses and it is looking like I won't have glasses any time soon. Terrible experience.
I have used Hakim Optical before Manning Crossing, with good results. So, when it became time to get more glasses, I brought my husband along as well. My glasses took about a month - twice as long as they told me. Whenever I called in to check in, I was given excuses - no apology or acknowledgment of the lateness of the order. When my glasses were ready, they didn't call - I just happened to check in again and find out they were there. The wait was even worse for my husband. Even though we ordered our glasses at the same time and his were only single vision lenses, his glasses took over 6 weeks to come in - and again, he only found out because he called. Then, when he went in, they couldn't find them. After some searching around, they found them - but they were the wrong frames we will own that there's a small possibility that our memory is that bad, but we are about 95% sure that they were not the right frames. We wondered if the delay was because they lost the original frames and tried to pick a match the silver colour was the same, but the style was different. When my husband asked about it, they denied any mistake was made. There was never an apology about the extreme delays, never an interest in trying to find a way forward to customer satisfaction. We are not likely to go back again, but recommend to others who do: be sure to take a picture of the frames you have chosen, and see your requests in writing, or you will have no way to follow up if they mess up your order.
I had a very good time with Hakim. The two ladies were very nice and helped me shop for my head & face type, giving honest opinions. Took advantage of the 2 for one deal and love both my glasses!
I was so impressed at how friendly and helpful the staff was. With the huge selection of frames I thought it would be hard to decide on a style. She picked out frames that she thought would suit me and the first one she selected was a winner! I really appreciated the support and expertise while making such an important purchase.
Drove 170 km's to pick up my glasses today only to find your store closed. I called this morning and your representative said you are open until 7pm today. It is 4pm and I waited for 30 minutes but nobody came back to your store. I have been waiting for my new glasses for almost a month.
DR.Awad was Amazing. Took alot of time to explain everything. The front staff was great also. I'm very very happy with the St. Albert Hakim team!
I am so happy with my recent purchase! I got my glasses quickly, and the young lady was very knowledgeable and got me the perfect lenses for my needs.
