I normally love this place and this would be a 5 star. I shop here two to three times a week for a family of six. Usually forget my shopping bags due to the state banning plastic bags and I forgetting them by the door in the garage. So why on God’s green earth do you charge us for paper bags that constantly tear or the handles rip off. Now I know this isn’t the locations fault but more if a corporate issue but today makes lost item #4 in two weeks due to a handle tearing and a glass bottle shatters destroying the paper packaging of the other products or tearing into plastic bags. Could this be avoided, sure! Could I carry one bag at a time from the bottom and walk two sets of stairs 6 times… absolutely! Might I possibly use a large Costco bag to bundle all my bags and carry one 75lbs sack up those same stairs and aggravate my sciatica and fall down those stairs, I guess I could take the chance but not likely. All i’m saying is, maybe charge the money for the thicker reusable plastic bag that will cause me to do all the same scenarios named above but with less torn handles and less glass and soy sauce in my box of mac and cheese. This would make mine, and those around me, a better world.
Looked on Google for a COVID Booster near me, Haggen showed an opening in the morning. I went in, waited no more than 15 minutes, the pharmacist asked if I had the Flu shot yet and offered to give that in the other arm. 2 shots, 2 minutes or less. Very efficient operation. Very friendly
Good store but the teriyaki & fried rice in the deli are horrible! Added to that, when I asked for my meal to be in separate containers one for rice and one for meat, she gave me far more than what a meal should have and charged me far more. It was a complete waste of $11.
I really debated posting this because having worked in customer service for years myself I understand the struggle, but this interaction has just been kind of bothering me. I go to Haggens frequently & love their sushi. On Thanksgiving, I went there with my younger sister to get some grocery items for my mom while she was at home cooking. I’m almost 23, & have never once had a problem with my ID. I purchased margarita mix, & the lady that helped me was grilling me about my ID in a very unfriendly manner. I understand that stores have strict policies & that’s okay, but this girl was just overly rude about it. I offered to have my mom come down & purchase it, and she rolled her eyes at me & asked for the address on my ID. I’ve moved 4 times since renewing my ID, so I gave her the wrong address, & instead of being kind or just civil about it, she snapped at me, but accepted my ID anyways. She could have just been having a bad day & we’ve all been there, but I just didn’t deserve that kind of interaction.
Best quality, excellent variety of selection. They have bent over backwards to maintain their service during all the pandemic disruption. Friendliest people.
Needs more cashiers for the prices they ask. Love the store but I don’t want to wait all day. I do appreciate not having and self check outs though.
First time in a Haggen, visiting town. Good selection, good store. Prices seem a little high, and I’m coming from South FL. Maybe they’re typical for this region.
Never EVER place an online pickup order. Not only was my order late, I had to go into the store to ask what was going on? The "customer service" ha! person said there was "a really big order ahead of you" and told me to come back later! I said that was not convenient and asked them to expedite and I would wait in my car. Still NO order brought out 25 minutes later. Ridiculous. Not worth trying.
This haggen store at this location, everything looks so yummy, produce looks so good, the store is really clean, the deli items I purchased were excellent..... Employees really friendly , this is on my list of go to stores
Best grocery store in town. A little higher priced than others but you can’t beat the quality of the deli and prepared food. Everything is just better.
