I love thrifting and donating at the Habitat ReStores and this particular store is a gem! Very well organised and has a great range of furniture, home decor, seasonal items and home improvement items - all at a very affordable price tag. Staff and volunteers are always friendly, efficient and more than willing to assist! They even help move your purchased items out to your car for you which is so handy. Recommend checking it out if you like hunting for a deal!
I bought a beautiful dresser that had recently been donated from an estate. I love it. The staff were very nice and helped me measure my car and the dresser to let me know I couldn't fit it in the car.
The parking lot is very small. Staff will help you load up large items into your car with a dolly. The furniture section is very large and has lots of nice items. Housewares is somewhat smaller. The book section is very very small. The different areas such as bathroom fixtures and housewares are all separated and nicely organized. The staff themselves or pleasant and helpful. Overall the store is very clean and well-lit and a pleasant place to shop.
As a long time customer they have changed and not for the better !! We shop there due to limited budgets as well as the treasure hunt aspect...The prices were such that you could get a bargain or at least know walking out that you did not overpay .....Now you have to be very careful as I have found items that are more expensive than if you bought brand new ..I'm afraid that if the do not change their somewhat gouging tactics eventually instead of seeing people walk out empty handed uou will have no people to walk out regardless if your prices are fixed ..Clearly there are some prices at the store whom think if it's a speaker for example that if they make it 1/2 price of say Bose you should pay that happily ..And the job mate tools are just that cheap tools they are not top of the line so why priced as such .. Hopefully they get the hint as I have heard many others mutter about the silly prices they charge ..so instead of selling I guess most donations will end up in dump ..I know I am far from only one who feels this way and now buy far more from Talize or Value Village as they have far better deals ...I have noticed Habitat is not so busy anymore so turnaround is slow and same stuff there for months if not years ..I could go on and on but I won't
I just went into this restore looking for an exterior door and was so extremely disappointed with their prices. I understand they need to make a profit but aren’t these kind of stores suppose to help those who can’t afford things brand new? They get their stuff for free and then mark it up 200% it. It’s just so disappointing to see corporations only in it for money instead of helping those who are in need
