This beautiful gem on the traditional land of the Kwakiutl people with phenomenal displays local art is matched beautifully by the food that is is the best in town because of so wonderful pairings of local food done in a traditional ways. The clam chowder have to be the best I've ever had in my life which were the sentiment shared by my entire table.

Nice flavors, skimpy portions. We had the Salmon and Halibut dishes, both featuring risotto. Both pieces of fish were the smallest I've been served, and I'm not certain that the salmon was "hot smoked" as ordered. The risotto was also underdone for my tastes, but the flavours for both dishes were good. Ha'me' should also rethink their wine list -- box wine and plonk don't scream good cuisine.

I can't understand the price of their food, quality is good but the quantity isn't

This restaurant is hands down the best place for a fancy dinner in town, and also a great choice for lunch or late night (the pub, which offers the same menu, is open later than anywhere else in town) The menu include lots of local ingredients and dishes you won’t find anywhere else (the Blunden Harbour roll is a favourite, all of the appies are great, and the seafood chowder is AMAZING) at a reasonable price, and the First Nations art and cozy decor make it a great place to spend an evening.
