Hôtel Universel

We did have a slightly malfunctioning ac, but it wasn't that hot, so it was fine. The rooms were very clean and seemed brand new. The hotel's installations are also very pleasant, including fridge, pool, spa and movie theatre. There's also a few grocery stores nearby where you can go get cheaper drinks and food, making you avoid paying 3$ for a water bottle. Overall I greatly enjoyed the experience and would come again if I go to Alma in the future.

Samedi dernier, avec un groupe de 50 personnes, il y a eu un conflit ou mésentente entre le gérant de l'hôtel et le gérant du Pacini. Si bien que nous avons eu du très mauvais service au Pacini. De retour à l'hôtel le samedi soir après 2h30 pour souper chez Pacini, ils avaient oubliés de mettre les produits dans piscine. Piscine fermée pendant quelques heures. Prochain voyage dans cette région, nous irons ailleurs.

Service is great. All the staff speak a little English at least which was perfect for me. Room could've been better ventilated (smells tended to stick around) and temperature was difficult to control. Room was very comfortable. Jacuzzi tub in the room was great.

At first sight the hotel looked a bit of a concrete block and we had trouble finding our way to the entrance (from the lower level car park). However it proved to be very pleasant, clean and with comfortable beds. We had breakfast here and it was good too. We also found the staff to be friendly and helpful
