Horrible room clean up, we found condom besides the couch. Worst service ive ever good from a hotel
This place isn't bad when your in a pinch and need to stay somewhere decent and a lower than normal price. The breakfast was really good it had all the things I would expect for a free breakfast. The room was alright, it is obviously made to be cheaper than your average 3 star hotel but it got the job done and I would stay again if I really needed too during the busy season. Parking lot is very tiny. Walls are thin but can only hear people when they stomp their feet. There is a faint odor of smoke but only when someone is smoking nearby. Small hotel, more like a motel really.
Reserved the comfort room, cheapest they had. On arrival wanted to upgrade us at no cost to a suite, unfortunately only had one bed. Thanks for the offer and the welcome tray of goodies . Front desk staff was more than helpful. English was a problem but we got through it. This was the smallest room I've ever stayed in. No flat surfaces to open a suitcase or place anything bigger than a glass. Not even a hook in the bathroom. Room was attractive and served our needs to get sleep.nNo elevator. Lots of steps to climb to get to the room. Breakfast was outstanding, included bagels and lox.nStaff told us there were no good restaurants in the area, suggested we order from a takeout menu available at the front desk. We did, we're sorry we did. The wonton soup was edible. Nothing else was, we threw it all away.
Overall was a decent stay however many more cons than pros.nnPros: located on Rue Sherbrooke which is what seems to be the Main Street to go to many other places.nnCons: There is an overwhelming smell of cigarettes outside of the hotel, inside of the main lobby and in the hallways of each floor. It’s very very overwhelming. Which is hard to believe as this is a smoke free hotel with specific zones for smoking. But the smell was so overwhelming.nnThere is hot breakfast only on weekends. Weekdays there is stale croissants and sliced bread for breakfast. It’s not advertised as such online. Only found out when looking to get breakfast during one of the weekdays during my stay to find out there is no hot breakfast.nnStaff will literally see you standing at the front desk but will almost act as if you’re not there and continue about their business. Was very weird seeing this as it’s not very professional.nnIce machine never had a scooper inside of it.nnBathrooms do not have any hooks or rods to hang clothes on.nnWiFi was terrible. Had to resort to using my own personal data the entire stay.
Very bad service, unfriendly staff and manager not willing to assist the clients. We reserved a room with a hot tub and confirmed the info on the phone. Arrivied to the hotel and there's no bath in the room. Although the receptionist confirmed that all the rooms had it. Receptionist refused to change the room or give any discount and was unprofessional saying that it was our mistake and not from the receptionist on the phone. They also refused to cancel the reservation and reimburse the money although we didn't get the service for what we paid. Don't recommend to anyone
