Prices are exorbitant, and they are deceptive. I was told I needed to open a DC Bank account and my tax return would be sent on a prepaid VISA card. I was told the account would be one-time use and would be closed after my tax return arrives. Instead, they opened a direct deposit account at DC Bank in my name (with yearly fees for which I'm responsible) to which all my government cheques are now going. I now cannot contact them, and am finding it very difficult to close the account directly with DC bank. I will NEVER file taxes with HR Block again, and will discourage everyone I know from doing so.
