The doctors were quite good when dealing with my broken foot a few years ago, but unfortunately the triage section and other admin sections are a total disaster and this ended up with a 12-hour wait with much less urgent cases to pass before me even though they arrived in some cases well after me. Later on, one appointment was cancelled and only rescheduled several weeks after only once the hospital was called after apparently they forgot me completely about re-scheduling the appointment. They really need to review the entire triage process at the ER as well as the appointment process and until then I will try to avoid this place at all costs. The only reason I don't give one star is the doctors dealing with the injury and I would have given a zero for the triage and admin sections

Emergency is mostly overwhelmed. They naturally treat real emergencies first, having gone in for a broken ankle, and then later a pulmonary embolism, I was rushed through, once you are in they take great care of you. Having gone in for a concussion early one evening, after waiting for 4 hours, as doctors work shifts were ending, the nurse informed me they would not see me till early morning as the doctor was too busy, so being diabetic, I just went back home and got a good night sleep. The concussion was real, and took about 6 weeks to get better. Brought my mom in for a broken nose, they took her right away and took great care of her. There is simply a shortage of doctors.

To the ORTHO DEPT... Why don't you FIX the phone system?! I am told to dial 9 for English... and yes, they give you a list of things you may be looking for.... New appointments, Follow up appointments, etc... and which number to push... but when you push that number... the instructions are only in French... And when you finish listening, and don't know what to do... IT HANGS UP ON YOU... This is not a Language thing... this is an INCOMPETENCE thing, since I have found this phone issue to be happening for 8 months now. When I FINALLY had a local girl contact the Hospital for me... they said they are aware of the phone problems... and that the best way to get an appointment would be for me to Drive to the Hospital [1 hour drive], go to the waiting room to make an appointment... [1 to 8 hours wait time].. [Pay ridiculous price for parking].. then... a 1 hour drive home again...... Only to have to GO BACK AGAIN for the appointment date. SURELY YOU CAN FIX THE PHONE MESSAGES TO TELL US IN ENGLISH.. SO WE CAN LEAVE A MESSAGE!!! [Note:.. I have been trying to make a follow up appointment for over 2 months.]

My dad is 83 has a hard time walking and difficulty breathing and they have No wheelchairs. I am always asked by the front desk to check outside and around the floor and there isn't any. I went 3 times in August with him and there was none around. 1 night my dad went by ambulance the nurse put the wrong bracelet on his wrist. My mother had to tell them. When they cut the bracelet the nurse cut his skin and he was bleeding. My mother had to tell her to desinfect him he is on Coumadin. When the nurse took his blood she also dropped the blood vile on the floor. Very incompetent!!!'

Wish rate could be 0 worest hospital staff ever. No compassion for patients. They keep it freezing so everyone us wrapped in their coats. If you DON'T speak French my advice find a different hospital. They are rude, indifferent and dismissive.
