Looking to get your Korean grocery goods?nnH-Mart is a spot we visit occasionally to stock up on Korean noodles, taiyaki, frozen snacks, fried chicken and other hot food from time-to-time. There’s quite a vast selection from produce, meats & seafood to Asian drinks and hot food.nnUnfortunately everything is still relatively overpriced compared to other Asian groceries judging by the prices of their seafood market, hot food stand, specialty beer and even the taiyaki now. One positive is the number of sample stations now in-store.nnThere’s also a handful of food court options from BB.Q Chicken to Buk Chang Dong Soon Tofu. We weren’t impressed though by the cleanliness of the food court. If you’re planning to have a meal, just be prepared to take a while to find parking in the busy plaza parking lot.nnSkip it or hit it? We will usually skip it until the next Korean food craving hits in 1-2 years unless it’s something we can’t get it elsewhere!
H Mart is easily the best Korean grocery store in Toronto. The selection is amazing, you can find everything from fresh produce and high-quality meats to a wide variety of Korean snacks, instant noodles, and authentic ingredients that are hard to find elsewhere.nnWhat I really appreciate is how well-organized and clean the store is. It makes shopping easy and enjoyable, even when it’s busy. The prepared food section is also a huge plus, great for grabbing quick, delicious meals like kimbap, fried chicken, or banchan on the go.nnOverall, it’s my go-to spot whenever I’m craving Korean food or need ingredients to cook at home. Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Toronto!
H Mart has everything you'd possibly want from fresh food, including sashimi at a great price! This is a great place to visit to find some good deals and surprise value finds! The cooked food are also very solid choices and enjoyable.
I had an amazing shopping experience at H Mart and it’s easily my favorite Korean supermarket! The store is incredibly well-organized, spacious, and spotlessly clean, making it a pleasure to browse for hours. The selection of authentic Korean groceries is outstanding—from fresh kimchi, banchan, and a huge variety of gochujang and sauces to premium cuts of meat, seafood, and an impressive produce section with hard-to-find Asian vegetables and fruits, all looking incredibly fresh.nThe prepared foods and hot food bar are a highlight: the banchan counter offers so many delicious options, the fried chicken is crispy and flavorful, and the kimbap and tteokbokki are made fresh daily. I also love the bakery section with warm hodduk and red bean pastries—perfect for a quick treat. The ramen aisle alone is worth the visit, with brands and flavors you won’t find anywhere else.nWhat truly sets H Mart apart is the friendly and helpful staff. Every employee I encountered was polite, knowledgeable, and eager to assist, whether it was helping me find a specific ingredient or offering cooking suggestions. H mart is new to me, but I've been going there for a few weeks and have always been treated with the most respect and kindness. The food is awesome and their samples are everywhere. korean food is so tasty and satisfying, the prices I may add a reasonable and affordable. And they sell beer everyday at 830 am .so have yourself a wonderful day H mart .
