Great food, good portions Owner is great and always super happy
They cut their portions in half for the spanakopita and the custard pastry for desert and didn’t mention and changes in the menu. The chicken brochettes were super slimy and the pitas were missing altogether. It was awesome I only had enough food for half my guests! Thanks for the embarrassment! We ordered the same meal elsewhere to complete our order. You should probably not be running a business.
The employee is a nice guy but the meal itself isn't good. It's not worth the price. a box of calamari with 8 calamari for 19$ is really not worth the price. the whole menu doesn't taste good. it's not nasty, but not tasty. Will not go there again. Rather go to marathon or something like that.
I ordered two pastries from here and they both had mold on them. Yes that is mold on the side of the container
I ordered here a year ago and told myself I would not go back…but I was really craving a pita and since there are not many walking distance options in the area, I gave it another try….this time I definitely won’t be going back. When I walked in, I was not greeted. I patiently waited until I decided to wall up to the guy and ask which i was told to wait. I wasn’t given any napkins which i recall happened the last time I ordered take out as well they staple the bag shut so you can’t check inside, nor are there any napkinsvisibly available. The pita bread tasted hard and stale. They advertise the vegetarian pita with a jalepeno, lettuce and some fries inside which there was none of any, and hardly any tzadiki sauce. I also asked to use the bathroom when I arrived and the toilet was not clean to say the least and the sink did not have any running water or hand sanitzer at the least, which I mentioned and said they are getting the sink fixed. I understand the sink situation but maybe put a sign and some hand sanitizer and make sure the bathroom is clean…not impressed with the food so won’t be giving it another try.
Ordered delivery after once getting a decent gyro here. What happened??? The food I received was nowhere near the quality or taste I had before, in fact it was downright inedible. I got the pork skewer plate with fries, salad, tsatziki and rice. Pork tasted like it’s gone bad - I spit it out, rice was super bland. The salad had zero seasoning on it and the tzatziki tasted like plain yogurt. Fries were literally the only thing that was salvageable from this sad meal… had to make a sandwich and season the salad myself for this dinner… takeout fail.
Ordered 4 meals to be delivered…we got 3 meals after waiting an hour and a half . The place is a 10 minute drive from our house. Food was mediocre at best. Would definitely not recommend. There are much better Greek restaurants such as Marathon or Yia Sou I would recommend.
I ordered 3 meals but only received 2. I contacted the restaurant immediately but the number is unreachable. I checked the reviews and it seems like missing foods are usual issue. Maybe the management should investigate what's happening.
My high expectations were shattered immediately upon entering this place. The young woman who apparently took my order was wearing her face mask under her nose. Big turn-off. It took quite a while for her to take it and about five minutes later while I was waiting outside, she came up to me and asked if I was ready to place my order!!! Told her that I already had and she answered that she forgot to write it down. Thankfully I checked the contents of the bag while walking to my car. That's when I noticed that thee french fries were barely cooked. They were almost raw. She actually asked me to stand by the fryer to help her check for doneness after she put them in for a second time. Won't be going back.
This is a nice little place in the heart of Monkland village. The chicken gyro was very tasty although a bit dry, and their fries were good, but their potatoes really needed some salt and they forgot to give me utensils to eat my rice. All in all a decent place.
