Gushue's Pond Park

I’ve been a seasonal camper for the past 3 years. Ive stayed at several parks around the island and this is the best park on the island. Staff are great, they have tons of activities for the kids on the weekends. People are settled at a decent hour at night. Beach area is beautiful. Highly recommend.

It's a very clean park. There's no litter, no waste around, the comfort station is IMMACULATE. The staff is friendly and the campers are all super nice. The only bad thing I can say is that a fair amlunt of people run their generators overnight and the store's prices can be quite high, but those are all things you really expect from a campground. I love how much programming they have for children. It seems every weekend that they have some function at the main cabin for kids.

I spent a couple of days this week at the park. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the park, my site and the comfort station. The lady that checked me in was very pleasant, took me over to my site and directed me to the electrical and water hookups. It has been a good few years since I've been to the park. Nothing up to date comfort station showers dont work right nothing for kids to do and kids are not wanting anyway unless you are friends with the man running it dont fix anything runing it to the ground only places fixed up and can do what they want are people dont want kids or are not in the group of the couple running it other than that if u go there make sure the old group of people like you or your not welcome no picnic area shitty playground out houses and ugly comfort station no dog area only on a leash and oh there Halloween Labour Day yippee have fun oh ya cant go trouting along the ponds his buddy’s complaining about fushing line messing with there boat motor propellers i heard it all

Have been camping here since the early 90s. Great place i love it. Watch out for the crazy lady screams at you telling you to slow down even when your going 5kms everyone knows her. But when you spend one night your hooked.
