peaceful setting for daily prayers, kirtan spiritual hymns, and religious discourses. The temple is also active in community service, providing a langar free community kitchen that serves meals to all visitors. Gurdwara Nanaksar - Montreal is dedicated to fostering spiritual growth, cultural preservation, and a sense of unity among its members and the broader community.
Surprised to see the service mentality of the people by being so humble. Developed great respect for Sikh religion. Lovely, calm and peaceful place to mediate with live devotional music and discourses. Langarveg food is served to your plate while you're seated on the floorthe traditional way. Langar is available all through the day. Attaching the banner that educates the way of worship in this place. Ample parking is available. Great vibes that will leave you relaxed and peaceful. GOD is great. Feeling blissful
Very nice and new building.Big parking and Big Basement for Langar or any wedding etc program.Big new Air Condition Hall and Registed Gurdwara Sahib
I haven't visited this establishment for practice, but I have spent time on the premises for work. Very peaceful environment with very friendly, compassionate and hospitable faculty. I was offered a free meal during my brief work stint. The smell coming from the kitchen was very aromatic and desirable. Very clean environment. They genuinely care about all who visit!
Visiting a Sikh temple, or Gurdwara, is truly a remarkable experience that resonates with peace and spirituality. Upon entering, you're immediately enveloped in a serene atmosphere, characterized by the soft sounds of kirtan devotional singing that fill the air. The beautiful architecture, adorned with intricate designs and vibrant colors, reflects the rich cultural heritage of Sikhism.nnOne of the most striking aspects of a Sikh temple is the sense of community it fosters. People from all walks of life come together to share in the worship and community service, emphasizing the core Sikh values of equality and selfless service. The langar, or community kitchen, offers delicious, free meals to all visitors, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness and generosity.nnThe peaceful ambiance encourages introspection and connection, making it a perfect place to meditate or simply unwind from the chaos of daily life. The teachings and philosophies shared within these walls resonate deeply, often leaving visitors with a sense of purpose and tranquility.nnOverall, a visit to a Sikh temple is more than just a religious experience; it's a journey into a welcoming community, filled with compassion, harmony, and profound spirituality. It's a place where one can truly feel at peace, making it an unforgettable experience.
