This is a well hidden gem that is still very quite in a big city which gives a beach like view. Although not too much of sand nor area like that of other beaches, it still offers a direct view to Lake Ontario and a great place for hike/walking. The lack of sand makes it a good place to visit for “Anakin Skywalker”, who doesn’t like sand. Probably recommend if around this area, and love the ocean like lake view.
Nice place to relax, there are two paths to hike down to the lake, one is from the guild park left cabin parking area, there are two stone sculptures and you will see a small path amongst the trees. Another is from the main road Galloway junction bus stop with a big gate and has parking spots.nOnce you hike down you can go lefttake right after you reach till the lake towards the beachwalk till the end of the path and amongst the shrubs you will see a tiny path connecting to the beach and the right trail connects up to Doris McCarthy Trail
Ive been here alone and its so peaceful and calm place. Good place to relax your mind. I will definitely visit the place again to unwind sometime.
