Guernsey Farms Dairy has been family owned and operated since 1940. Our products are made using only the finest ingredients specially formulated by founder John McGuire.

John had a very simple business philosophy: Produce good products, maintain good quality, and provide good customer service. In this era of corporate farms, the family-run Guernsey Farms Dairy remains committed to these three values and brings them into every aspect of its work.

All Guernsey Farms Dairy milk comes from rBST-free cows on Lansing family farms. Cows are fed hay and grass in the warm months and grains when grass becomes scarce. Our farmers grow their own feed right on their farms. Within 24 hours of its arrival at our Northville dairy, the milk is processed by the McGuire family and our staff, and delivered to your local market.

Our products are used in many restaurant kitchens and our ice cream in some of your nearby ice cream parlors. Guernsey Farms Dairy Restaurant, Ice Cream Parlor, and Store are located at the same site as our dairy processing plant. Our family style restaurant specializes in broasted chicken, hearty American fare such as burgers, ground rounds, Reuben sandwiches and our scrumptious desserts made with Guernsey's award winning ice cream.
