Guelph Grotto Indoor Climbing Gym

Lovely climbing gym with perfect setting of the problem levels. So much fun on the Halloween night. Gender friendly washroom with female hygiene product providing.

Awesome Facility to spend time with friends and family. Busy hours are from 4-8 throughout the week and Saturdays/ Sundays are usually pretty busy in the afternoon towards the evening. Throughout the week the gym opens early for a members climb so if you have time you can get there before work and pump out some quiet climbing hours. The gym is completely open concept giving you almost complete visuals of each wall from the front of the gym. Two large boulders I'm between two top rope structures give plenty of space for climbing with a large kids climbing section on the back of the left top rope structure. With the gym still being under construction, new activities are being added regularly. At the back of the gym just past the far boulder there is a silks area where silks classes are performed. On the other side of the boulder is a Hydraulic wall Kilter board and beyond that is a decent sized workout room with free weights and workout equipment available to use. At the front of the gym above the change room there is a semi hidden room upstairs. This room contains a Moon board and a newly finished Campus board for Training purposes. If your into climbing and want to get better, I suggest checking out the Guelph Grotto!

I’ve been here Thursday Friday and it’s being torn down.nFacility is mediocre.nI learned nothing from this facility. I learned all my stuff from YouTube.nThere is always construction going on somewhere as in changing the walls, renovations or even outsidenI first got my membership here. It was fantastic.nI can't count how many times l've walked in and they're stripping a wall. It takes them more than 2 to 3 days to redesign the wall.nI wish the staff would take consideration of how much downtime they take away from this Facility. That's why I canceled my membership. This company does not know how to do time management you don’t know how many times I’ve seen parents bring their kids here and they’re just restricted to the gym

I began climbing at the Grotto about ten years ago with friends as a fun way to get out and be active. I’m happy to say I now climb with my 6yr old son here and it hasn’t lost its charm. Great gym, variety in climbs, staff are wonderful, patrons are friendly and they offer so many services to help you meet your potential no matter the age or level. We had a birthday party, kids enjoyed the activities and the party, staff were super friendly and supportive. Definitely recommend it!
