Bad experience. The employees locked all the bathrooms and then when we asked if they could open them they were so rude and said no. There was four employees hiding from doing their job. What’s the point of having employees if they don’t do their job! So rude and a waste of tax payers money. Do better. Pathetic.
Absolutely awful station!! I drove from out of Town to take my kids and my nephew to Jays game using the Guelph GO!nUpon arrival absolutely no direction as to where to park my car. After driving around for a while found a small parking lot luckily with just one spot. Absolutely no direction on how to go to the stationnFound the station it’s closednOption to buy tickets at a kiosk bought two adult tickets $30nWaited for the train, the train arrived stopped for two mins with only one door, only hand full of people got in, door closed and train leftnMy group along with about 25-30 others just stood there in shock !! It was 3pm next train is at 9pm !! Do better Guelph!!!
So much money was spent on renovations here and every single time I take a train or bus from here it is closed.nPrior to a 2.5 hr bus trip with no washrooms on go bus - no trains on weekends, and traveling with a toddler, it would be really nice to have a washroom to use prior to departure.nI am all for leaving the car at home but our transit system makes it really hard to do that. What is the point of a beautiful central station that is always locked?
Entrance is off Carden Street and there's an accessibility ramp. You can purchase tickets at the counter for regular train and for the commuter train you can use the self serve stations.nThe schedule is posted and easy to read.
I was supposed to pick up a friend at 12:30pm at the Guelph station, but there was a delay until 2:00pm. Then the train had a mechanical failure around London and they chartered a bus to bring everyone to Guelph. At the moment, they are saying arrival time will now be 3:00pm. At least VIA was so kind as to give the passengers some cookies nnAlso, there is no access to any washrooms and the main doors are locked. I have been sitting inside and having to keep getting up to let people in. Mostly everyone is wanting to use the washroom.nnCome on VIA. Do better. I'll gladly use Aldershot in the future.
