Love how they have a Chinese BBQ here in Guelph. It's definitely comparable to a lot of good Chinese BBQ spots in Toronto.. might be even better! It is a little more expensive than the ones I get in Toronto but it's still great portions, food value for the price, clean and super flavourful. I also like that they offer dim sum items and other dishes which I have yet to try. Definitely one of the better restaurants here in Guelph. The smell of my takeout was so intoxicating, it made me want to just eat it on the spot.
Guelph BBQ saving me in this period of physical distancing by providing all of my Chinese BBQ and dim sum needs. Their half duck is my go to order, and the crispy roast pork is always 100%!!! The salt fish fried rice is incredible, and recently I tried the Malaysian ho fen and vermicelli and it was DELICIOUS. Our favourite comfort food place, and the owners and staff are so nice! Support local businesses and get delicious food!

This is our favourite Asian restaurant in Guelph. The food and service have been consistently wonderful and memorable. We love their BBQ meats especially the honey sweet barbecue pork, ginger chicken as well as Dim Sum selections. Service is fast when you order as takeaway. We are so blessed to have such a delicious and authentic Asian restaurant in Guelph. I highly recommend it!
The best Chinese food in Guelph. their sweet and sour chicken balls are the best I've ever had. Very crispy, big chunks of chicken. I order more than I need so I can have leftovers. garlic green beans are delicious. I usually don't like Chinese food vegetables because they're often too saucy, but these are perfect in taste and texture. honey bbq spare ribs, bbq pork fried rice, and honey twists are also super delicious! The honey twists are a single-serve items, so make sure you get one for each person.
This is, without a doubt, the best Chinese food in Guelph. Now, I know the competition is not high, but this is the real deal. They have a wonderful selection and do not skimp on the portions. I am a vegetarian; so I did not personally sample all they have to offer. However, I was with a part of six and they all left full and happy. I would recommend ordering for the table and eating family style so that everyone can sample the delightful range available. On top of all of that, the price is hard to beat.
Food is good. But maybe teach your driver how to use a buzz code. It makes no sense you take a buzz code and the driver still left the food in the lobby.
Been here twice now. Food is amazing! Fresh, delicious and my husband said the duck was phenomenal and perfectly cooked! Staff is super friendly, accommodating, and they take pride in their food. Restaurant is centrally located, super clean, and bright. Will definitely be back!
Ever since the Asian supermarket that was on Woodlawn Rd and the Hanlon closed, I couldn't find anywhere local that had roasted duck. Finally through social media did someone recommend I check out Guelph BBQ and sure enough here they are! Very friendly owners and great food! Definitely check them out if you haven't yet!
So many choices we didn’t even end up with any bbq! Super friendly staff, lots of choices fresh made and ready to go, we ended up with a mishmash of appetizers and dim sum and without exception it was all delicious. The crab lollipop a standout, as was the Vietnamese spring roll. Definitely will be back to try the bbq duck and pork, both of which looked terrific too.
