The pharmacists/techs are/can be very helpful & will do what they can to get what you need, although some seem like you are a bother to them... I guess it just depends on what day it is. Understanding that they are working, sometimes without any breaks, will help you to understand this... as they are, in fact, a Very Busy pharmacy!! There's usually a bit of a wait for filling RX's. If planning on getting a RX filled, I suggest visiting early to have it filled on time, meaning days before hand, just to make sure that you don't run out, or to make sure you end up receiving a full RX, as sometimes, because of how many towns/county's they have to deal with, you may find yourself with a RX that is not completely filled, as they tend to run out of their medicine stock! But, you also have to understand that they ARE the Only drug store available, unless you feel like driving 12-20 minutes away. So, it would be good to know this in advance before visiting. Nice/pretty shopping items too for all occasions, but, very expensive at the same time.
Its just a typical pharmacy. Not great but also not bad. Its what you'd expect from a guardian.
Never have prescriptions ready even when called in and that’s if they have your prescribed medication!
For a rural drug store,it covers ALOT of ground. Prescription fill times are just as long as city times,with just as many technicians and pharmacists. I'm giving it 5 stars just for the fact that the staff accommodate 5 rural doctors AND the hospital! Great job with the covid 19 screening too! Theres NO line ups like other drugstores and they encourage social distancing.

Racist staff, long waits on receiving prescriptions, doctors have even advising patients not to get prescriptions filled at this place due to lack of professionalism and blatant racism... It has gone down hill

Most of the people there are nice and friendly really good service are the managers really nice person and she's really good looking and to take the bank card there for taxes
I submitted prescriptions for 2 items intending to return for later pickup. When I returned the next day I was told they did not have one of the two items but they had ordered it and it would be there the following day. I returned late afternoon the next day to be told it had not been in their order but they had checked with another of their outlets and it was going to be dropped off at this pharmacy that evening. I requested they call me when they received it. They assured me it would be there but they would still call as soon as it was in. They did not call until the afternoon of the next day. I returned yet again and after a 20 minute weight to pick it up they only have one pick-up counter and they serve only one person at a time.. The Guardian Pharmacy has a near monopoly in Elmsdale to Shubenacadie to Stewiacke area and they have not keep up with the growth in their business. Their pharmacy is extremely slow, they often have to order in your items OR they will only be able to partially fill your prescription requiring you to return later for the remainder. The only reason to do business with this pharmacy is if you live in the area and don't have the opportunity to go elsewhere.
