This Cafe is a unique place in the Bowling green area which offers free books to read and many games in the area of the Cafe. I always used to go where I enjoyed my tea or coffee by reading different books and studying. It is also a great place to go with a group of friends and to play games inside. Highly recommended to you experience this place if you are in Bowling Green Ohio.
Wonderful Coffee Shop in Bowling Green with variety of flavors, tea, ice cream, nice baked goods, and very neat environment with comics, and bookstore. Looks like a coffee shop in a library with lively music; nice place to sit and read, study, work on puzzles or play board games. It is a local favorite from my understanding. Staff are knowledgeable about where the beans are sourced from and competent in distinguishing them. They also have a chess board if you're into that! Vinyl Records are there also. They also have a thing where you can SEND POST CARDS!! 4.7/5
Looking for a place to meet up with a friend? Colleague? Just get some work done independently? Grounds is your place. Lots of great coffee selections as well as a decent food menu. Highly recommend for anyone.Food: 5/5
Coffee was great. Staff was great. Store itself is cool. But as my first time there I was a little confused. Told staff I had never been there and they didn't say anything. Zillion books all over, they didn't explain whether the books were for sale or casual reading or both. Was a nice atmosphere but all the chairs and tables were wooden and uncomfortable. Would be nice if they had some more comfortable seating available. Pastry was great but wish they would have had some sandwiches or real food.
Great cream sodas. The vibes are awesome. I come here every Sunday morning for a club meeting. It's a pretty versatile environment, perfect for going alone or to meet as a group. Rating the food a 4 because it's great, but everything I've had so far other than the cream sodas is stuff you can get the same anywhere else. The atmosphere makes it worth it, though. Folks there are really nice. Wheelchair accessibility: The aisles are pretty small, and you usually have to squeeze past people to get through, so I'd give it a low score on wheelchair accessibility.
Amazing coffee shop and used bookstore. Definitely one of my favorite places in downtown BG. The staff are very friendly, and were kind and supportive when I asked to see the nutrition labels for some syrups. The atmosphere is cozy and comforting. Cool place to meet friends or work/study. Great bakery items that include vegan and gluten free options.
Cute little place. No almond milk option for you almond milk drinkers oat and soy available. Very popular spot. Baked goods look delicious as well. Service was not very friendly, and wifi signal too weak to actually use. But a place I'd return if i needed a spot in BG.
One of the most quaint coffee shops I've had the pleasure of visiting! Serving as a combination coffee shop/bakery and bookstore, the atmosphere is super friendly and inviting. This business makes it clear they stand with women, people of color, and those of the LGBTQIA+ community with their merchandise towards the front of the store Always a lovely sight to see. An awesome study spot, and staff is nothing but friendly. Has hosted events for the college before to resounding success for students and is a must-see if you're passing through town. Parking: Street Parking
Always a welcoming atmosphere. Customers vary in age so not just young college students. Wonderful variety of books. I'm in town a few times a week and it's always a pleasure to hang out here for an hour or so.Food: 4/5
GFT makes me feel right at home! It's the perfect place to grab a cup of coffee, a quick GF snack, or browse for used books and vinyl LPs! The staff is friendly and take the time to make you feel like part of the family! Inclusive community-based events are also scheduled regularly! Picnic tables & NEW murals are out back! Check them out!
