We decided to get a DJ at the last second and we were so fortunate to have found Chris Zard from Grindstone Productions. He was so welcoming, a great communicator and put all our questions to ease. The reception DJ, Tendai, was the best DJ I've seen at a wedding. He released banger after banger, and everyone was on the dance floor at all times. Many people including catering commented that they had never the whole wedding on the dance floor! Tendai and Chris transformed out wedding into a dance party and I am so, so glad that we had them as our DJ. Thank you so much!

Chris and Dan were amazing to work with! Dan ran the DJ booth while Chris ran the Photo Booth. The music was phenomenal all night and Dan took requests. Chris took some incredible shots of the dancing at our wedding, along with some memorable photo booth pictures! Would 100% recommend them.

Grindstone DJ was the best DJ company we could have chosen for our wedding! Chris Zard was great to work with leading up to the wedding. He was extremely responsive and professional. On the day of the wedding, the dance floor was absolutely packed all night. They chose great music, and could really read the room. A lot of our guests complimented us on how great the song selection was. I would recommend Grindstone Productions in a heartbeat!

Chris was amazing to deal with and we had such a great experience with Grindstone Productions. We hired them for our wedding ceremony and reception. It ended up raining so we had to change our ceremony to indoor and they went with the new plan and transitioned smoothly. Chris was always quick to respond and every interaction with him was very pleasant. Tendai was our DJ for the reception and he was awesome! Everyone was on the dance floor dancing and he kept the party going all night! We would highly recommend them and definitely hire them again if we need services in the future!

We hired Grindstone Productions to play the music for our wedding ceremony and to DJ at out reception. Before our wedding day, the owner, Chris, was very helpful. He offered advice and answered any questions I had in a timely manner. On the day of the wedding, Chris ran the music at the ceremony and it was absolutely perfect! All the right songs were played at all the right times. Chris also played songs as the guests came in true to what we had asked Grindstone Productions to play. At the reception, Curtis was our DJ and he did a tremendous job. He kept the guests dancing all night and was very willing to accept song requests from our guests. Curtis also went out of his way to check in with us throughout the night to ensure we were happy with the DJ services. Grindstone Productions is a company that cares about its customers. The company will go out of its way beforehand and on the day of your event to make it a success. I would highly recommend them to anyone as they played a big part in making our wedding day so incredibly special!

We chose Grindstone for our May Long wedding in central Edmonton and I couldn’t recommend it enough. First off, Chris Z was always prompt with the communication, which I loved. I felt the price was better than other places I researched with similarly solid reviews. Our DJ, Chris M, knew exactly what to play to get our guests up and going in a somewhat non-dance conducive venue. Overall, we were very happy with the service and it complimented our special day perfectly. If I need a DJ ever again, I’ll be looking to Grindstone first.

We used Grindstone for our wedding DJ and photobooth. Everything turned out great for our even! Chris was amazing through all the planning stages and was extremely fast with replies and answering all of our questions. Our DJ was fantastic during the wedding, he kept the party going the entire time and played a great mix for everyone to have fun! I Highly recommend using Grindstone!

My husband and I hired Grindstone Productions for our backyard wedding. Given the unconventional venue, I was worried about the logistics of setting up our DJ. Chris was quick to dispel my concerns and made a trip out to the venue to survey the area and make sure everything would be set up in the right place and with the right equipment. Everything turned out exactly as we wanted it; the music was great, the DJ Sheena kept everyone dancing, and she even let us sing our hearts out on our karaoke machine towards the end of the night. Hiring Grindstone was the right choice, all around. Attentive, professional, and excellent!

We hired grindstone DJ for our wedding, for both DJ service and their photographer, rather than the photo booth! The dance floor was full all night, and the pictures on the navy sequence backdrop are great! Chris was very responsive by email and always got back to me quickly when I had questions. The photographer is a new service for them, so I did make a suggestion on what I would do to improve the service. Again, Chris was very responsive, this is the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

We had a hall with 500 of our employees and guests, Grindstone was excellent to deal with! DJ Curtis was friendly and did a superb job of reading the crowd and adapting the music. We had a very culturally diverse group of guests and he managed to get everyone dancing from start to finish. Highly recommend!
