The Grimsby Museum was established in 1984 to serve the community as an integral part of the cultural life of Grimsby and the surrounding area.
The Grimsby Museum is owned and operated by the Town of Grimsby. We are a community history museum with an artefact collection of over 13,000 records relating to Grimsby’s past. We are here to collect, preserve and interpret Grimsby’s stories. The collection is interpreted through various public programmes including: exhibitions, workshops, lectures, school programming and other special events.
