Grillades Du Fort

We were a group of three, went for supper. They have a really nice terrace. The service though was abysmal. Starting with the waitress making us wait standing up while she was filling our glasses with water and removing the extra napkin and utensils from the table. Then waiting for forty minutes or more to bring us the food, while in the meantime we asked several times for a water refill... Other guests who came after us were served before us. We had to ask them for bread and only then started serving complementary bread to all tables, still serving other guests before bringing our bread. I don't know if this was personal but that makes no sense as this was the first and last time we visited this place.nP.S. the fries served to my partner were terrible - almost blackened from overcooking, soft and mushy, funnily fries at other tables looked slightly better.nI don't recommend and will not go there again.

Lovely spot with a beautiful view of the river and a calm, relaxed atmosphere. The terrace is peaceful — great for conversation Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive; staff checked in regularly. Reasonably priced for the quality and setting. Will return.

I this place. Very peaceful, definitely recommend it.

Waitresses are a bit dry and their outfit were today of very short, borderline indecent skirts, as far as I am concerned. Cod cakes and fish and chips were good, however the fish would be better served on a plate instead of on top of the fries. No bowls were provided to dispose of the mussel shells. Nice view of the « Bassin de Chambly ». Parking too small for the needs.

Nice location, good food at fair prices. Service was friendly but a little slow, and didn't check on me until I finished eating....
