We really enjoyed this bar and grill! The battered mushrooms are the best I’ve had. Order them. Eat them. Go back and order them again! The burger was very good! The club sandwich’s chicken was a little thin, but tasty!
Service, great. Atmosphere, great. Food, not so much. My party of 3 had bluegill & and cod, all of which seemed like the crust had sweated. It was not crisp & crunchy. Potato pancakes were fair. The potato salad was ok, the slaw was not good... had way too much onion- overpowering the slaw. The bread was great. French onion soup & mozzarella sticks were the star of our meal, which is the reason for 3-stars on the food. Sweet old fashion was good.
Excellent spot to eat! It's reasonably priced and the food is great. You will defiantly leave satisfied. The portions are large. I had the fried chicken half a chicken and it was super moist and tender. Cooked to perfection!
We had a grouper fish fry, it was fabulous! We asked for cajun seasoning, and they complied even though it was not on the menu. The service was great. The owner came by to talk to us when we had a question about an ingredient. It was a very fun overall experience.
Fish fry was amazing, had the lake perch and gf had the blue gill. Good portions, coleslaw was really good. Service was average, waitress only checked on us once, didn't get 2nd drink until we were done eating. Fish fry was worth the wait, excellent food!Food: 5/5
Came here for a Packer-Sunday. Long bar, with a huge room off to the side. The bloodies were spicy / well done, and so was the breakfast. We ordered on paper menus, and it was no-frills awesome. The bartender was also our waitress, was positive, accommodating during the game, and hustled her tail off. We had an omelet, eggs/prime rib combo, and well - plenty of drinks. Not necessarily the most COVID - friendly, as the bar is long /narrow, and a lot of people at the bar enjoying their libations with out much space between them. Still a good spot to chill.
We live outside the Madison area and was in the area on our way home and was looking for a place to get something to eat??? We searched and saw grill 164 in oconomowoc and decided to order food from there. We called in an order and a lady answered the phone and was very pleasant. Once we ordered we drove there to pickup our order. I walked in to get our order and a women greeted me was so nice. and rang up my order. Found out while paying my bill her name was mary. I told her i wasn't from the area just was looking for something to eat?? After paying my bill she told me to drive safe. If ever we are in the area again we will be eating at grill 164. And want mary to be our waitress..... Thanks alot wayne
Went for prime rib, quality meat, food was served cold, highly recommend a plate warmer. Short staffed, but understand the labor shortage, review was because food served cold.Recommended dishesFrench Onion Soup
Very reasonable prices . We all tried the king cut as it was only 25 dollars or so. My stepdad had the grouper for about 20 dollars . All pretty tasty. I preferred mine the next day as the flavor was better.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: NoTakeout: YesDelivery: NoCurbside pickup: Yes
