Oh boy… ok… so I was in the area with a few people and looked up top rated restaurants and found this place. First off it more bar with food than restaurant with bar. Small tables small area long bar. Fine. Moving on. Brand new waitress who was extremely young pretty much knew nothing. Fine. Moving on. My friend got a single shot which was the size of half the glass of water. Fine. Again. Moving on. We order the food which tasted good but was way overpriced. For example. Mac and cheese was $9 to add steak tips on. It comes with three baby tips which is $3 a baby tip!?! Ok. Steak tip entrees. Five baby tips on massive plate of fries. $20+!? The steak and cheese sliders app pretty sure is steakums too. Last but not least, my fried dough dessert came out raw and doughy in the middle. Great way to cap off the night!! Now if I were a drinker and taking those massive shots and buzzing or drunk this would all day be a five star but sober looking for good meal and experience…. Average.
Unfortunately, if you aren't under the influence you will notice the food is tasteless. No seasoning or love was giving when making the food. The burger and fries were worse than fast food chains. The waitress was friendly and attentive.
Last night we stopped by and grabbed 2 drinks each. The Big Daddy O Tito’s, peach schnapps, and pineapple juice. The drinks were strong but delicious . We ordered the Marinated steak tips, onion rings, and jasmine white rice. The rice was hard and no flavor, onion rings were basic. But the steak tips were tender, Marinated perfectly, and seasoned well. Great steak tips. Dawn the waitress was great. We ordered an appetizer 1st. But our meal came out before the appetizer of boneless chicken with garlic parmesan. The manager comped the appetizers for the delay. That was cool. The staff is always very pleasant and accommodating to my needs. I have a specific allergy which can be challenging in restaurants. Also, the cocktails never miss. This is a great place for an after work meetup. The deck experience is a plus. It's an all around friendly atmosphere. Dietary restrictions: Just let them know and they will work with you to accommodate.
They told us the kitchen was open before we went but when we arrived they had closed it for a Halloween Party. Kinda a missed opportunity on their part with possible drunk, hungry coeds. The whole time I was standing at the bar, no one asked me if I needed anything. Edit to add, the response I got from the owner on here was rude and condescending. I was standing at the bar the whole time without anyone saying a single word to me. Must of been because my costume wasn't as eye catching as others. I had called ahead to see if they were going to be serving food at the party. I see in some of your other responses that you aren't too kind of any feedback that isn't positive. Great way to run a business. Keep it classy
Good food. Outdoor dining was very comfortable. Very clean. Good service. Unfortunately I will never go back because in reading the owner's responses he seems like a douche. Parking: Parking stinks
Went here for brunch and was Absolutely amazed . My server Nicole was phenomenal, very kind, attentive. Overall great personality. If I’m ever back in the area, I would 100% stop in.
Unfriendly servers. Bar waitress would come over, hardly listen and walk off without hearing what we ordered. Hostess extremely unfriendly. And judging by responses to negative reviews , the culture here is low- vibrational.
Nice local restaurant that goes above & beyond to make sure you have a good experience! The last time I was here it was Tony's Cantia I believe. I was served underage and loved it!! NOW DECADES LATER...I ventured in and was nothing but impressed. Our server Jordan was amazing...and funny!! I actually got to speak with Nick the owner and enjoyed his enthusiasm and dedication to provide his clientele with the best he can put out!! This guy has HEART...such a good thing!! I see nothing but a positive outlook in their future!! ****note***** serving brunch Fri-Sun 10-3 ***** & they take reservations! ****I returned for Taco Tuesday and was once again impressed!! I enjoyed one of each offered. And the lovely Miss Rachel expertly created my amazing cocktails...she's another asset to the Greyhound Tavern!!****
Way too noisy. Wait staff was poor. Waited longer than party seated right beside us. Manager had to check on us and facilitate a beer ! Almost walked out.Food: 3/5
