If you really don't need to go here don't. I always find it creepy. I balance it out with the cheap bus tickets. Food and drinks are overpriced so bring your own. There is a fountain to fill your bottle is you have one. Stay inside the station cause the people by the entrance will bother you or worse. Bathrooms are only if the need is great. Stay safe and keep your eyes open. Staff for the most part have been nice to me.

I waited for a friend to come into town there several times. First off, their P.A. system is horrible. They make announcements about what buses are due and when and where to line up. The sound is very muffled. I can make out every other word. Second and last, the women's bathroom is not the cleanest. One positive is that there's a staff member there who is always informative and helpful to the customers. I don't know his name but he checks the passengers tickets before boarding the buses. He's always willing to help someone.

It is what it is. A bus station. Pretty much any bus station in this country, whether long distance or city is ghetto. This is better than a lot though because they watch people and don't let them line up till the guards say so. But of course stupid people do anyway.

It's affordable travel. But you must be pay careful attention to keep an eye on the transfers. And don't do like I did and travel on a holiday weekend... I had to travel at odd hours

probably the most infuriating part of using the greyhound bus system during the week of Thanksgiving is the TV displays around the waiting area. Our bus from Chicago to Ann Arbor was 3+ hours late, and the only reason is because Greyhound forgot to send a bus to Chicago. We were lined up for hours because they never announced that our bus was leaving. I used the Greyhound app, and it said that our bus was in Indiana on the way to Michigan, and when we called Customer Service they told us that our bus had already departed. This was not the case. While we were trying to figure out when the bus would actually leave, we watched the TV screens for the departure times of Non Chicago buses. PLEASE. Just update those TVs with relevant Chicago departures!!
