I have had multiple appointments here, in the past 8 years or so. This facility has a very streamlined service. The booking clerk has great etiquette. The appointment details are sent via text and a reminder also follows at the right time. The requisition from the prescribing doctor can easily be sent via email when needed for booking an appointment. The staff is caring, welcoming and very helpful.nTechnologists are professional and a doctor is also present on site to be consulted by the techs, whenever needed– this makes the whole experience quite a reassuring one. In one of my recent appointments, they highlighted something on my report and I got a call from my Family Doctor right after– without my having to worry about booking an appointment. It was very reassuring. I am thankful for all the work that is done at this facility. The washroom is clean and tidy. I live about an hour away and still choose to drive to this facility. May you keep at it and stay blessed.
Easy location for transit, I arrived about 2 hours after opening on a Thursday for a walk in X-ray appointment. I grabbed a number and was called up right away. I was able to text the receptionist a screenshot of my requisition as I didn’t have a paper copy.nI waited about 10-15mins. All the staff were kind and courteous. No complaints.nWill return if needed.
I had my dating ultrasound here yesterday, and my experience was great. Check-in was smooth, and the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The ultrasound tech, Leanne, was professional, kind, and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment. I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews beforehand, but my experience was very positive.
The mixed reviews had me a bit nervous to use this office - I was looking for a place to get my annual mammogram after moving further away from the office that I went to previously. The actual procedure went very well. I felt comfotable and it was very efficient. It only took about 10 minutes and I was able to go in pretty much right away after checking in for my appointment with maybe a couple of minutes wait. No one else was waiting ahead of me. I have seen some comments about reception and was prepared for an unpleasant experience. I was pleased to be greeted in a friendly manner. And overall, it wasn't that bad. But it could have been better. I was exactly on time, so I gave my name and my appointment time and figured they would be expecting me. She did need me to repeat my name even though she had my Driver's License with my PHN and repeat my appointment time but did not ask me what I was there for, and eventually told me that she couldn't find my appointment. But for whatever reason, she assumed I was in for a bone density appointment. To me, if you know that there are two possible procedures and two available and two techs, then why assume one without asking, and if you checked one and couldn't find it, wouldn't you just go ahead and check the other procedures appointments automatically rather than saying to the patient she couldn't find me? She made it seem like it was my fault that she assumed I was in for the other one? If she needed to know which one to look me up, she could have simply asked at first, or asked after her first attempt in a neutral way before making it seem like I didn't have an appointment. It seems like she's been doing this long enough that it would just be normal to realize it could be either and to ask or check both if you don't want to ask. I mean, I don't know how they organize their appointments so I'm not going to know that or that I have to specify right away without being asked. She made a point of asking the person behind me what they were in for in though but this was clearly not her first day. Anyhow, it's not a big deal but it was a bit weird so there's where I feel there could be improvement and so I couldn't freely give 5 stars. But my main message is that things went pretty well and parking was even pretty easy, so I'll go there again, and you may not have as bad a time as some of the other reviews. I was really pleased with how fast it was. Reviews had put me off but I'm glad I went.
I visited Greig Associates today at 2:15 pm for a mammogram and ultrasound. It was extremely crowded at that time, and I had to wait about 30 minutes past my appointment due to a broken machine. If you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend going during peak hours as there were many people. However, it became less crowded around 3:30 pm. Despite the wait, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They even looked after my baby at the reception while I was in the mammogram room, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, the staff were warm and welcoming, and I thank them for their care.
