I had both my dating scan and my anatomy scan here, I’m surprised by some of the reviews because I had a pleasant experience both times with the techs. They really can’t go into detail but both techs were warm, kind and friendly. Your partner can join you at the end of the appointment and the tech shows you both the screw.nnMy only disappointment was the quality of the print outs. I was hoping for a film strip like I’ve seen everywhere else and they just printed my baby photos on printer paper and gave them to me in an envelope.
I wanted to leave a review as reading through previous negative reviews almost stopped me from booking an appointment here. My personal experience involved a HyCoSy and the booking process was very simple over email and they offered me an appointment very quickly. The office is busy and there were a lot of people in the waiting room, but the reception staff were friendly and had a ticket system to register patients. The nurses who performed the procedure were incredibly warm and comforting - it felt like I had a maternal/sister figure in the room. I'll never forgot how kind and helpful they were. Nobody schedules these types of appointments because they want to, and the staff did a great job of putting me at ease and explaining what was going on.
I visited Greig Associates today at 2:15 pm for a mammogram and ultrasound. It was extremely crowded at that time, and I had to wait about 30 minutes past my appointment due to a broken machine. If you're in a rush, I wouldn't recommend going during peak hours as there were many people. However, it became less crowded around 3:30 pm. Despite the wait, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They even looked after my baby at the reception while I was in the mammogram room, which I greatly appreciated. Overall, the staff were warm and welcoming, and I thank them for their care.
Disclaimer: this one star review does not reflect my experience with the booking clerks or front desk staff. They have always been friendly, efficient and helpful.nnAdding to what other reviewers have said, this is not the place for you when you are struggling with any fertility issues. I’ve had many different technicians and doctors there but their attitudes are all the same. Unkind, down right hostile and quick to question the advice of my health care providers.nnMaybe it’s all the same to you because you do this everyday but maybe take a breath next time before you take it out on your patients because you don’t know what someone’s going through.
I am writing this review to share a deeply concerning experience during my wife’s obstetric ultrasound appointment at this facility.nMy wife is five months pregnant and does not speak English fluently. I respectfully requested to accompany her during the scan to assist with communication, but this request was denied.nDuring the procedure, the attending nurse/technologist appeared unable to obtain the required fetal heart images. Instead of seeking timely assistance from a senior colleague, she continued attempting the scan herself and applied excessive and forceful pressure to my wife’s abdomen. The pressure caused my wife significant pain, which she communicated clearly.nWhen my wife asked if there was any issue due to the level of pain she was experiencing, the nurse responded dismissively, saying that she “questions too much.” Despite my wife’s discomfort, the nurse continued to apply strong pressure, particularly to the lower abdominal area, causing severe pain.nThree days later, my wife continues to experience sharp lower abdominal pain and is unable to tolerate even light touch to her belly. This has caused us serious distress and concern for the well-being of both my wife and our unborn child.nOnly afterward was a senior nurse called in. The senior nurse was able to complete the scan smoothly and gently within a short time, without causing pain, clearly demonstrating that the earlier excessive force was unnecessary.nThis experience reflected a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and inadequate patient care. Pregnant patients should be treated with empathy, skill, and respect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that no other family has to go through a similar experience.nWhile I place my trust in God for justice, I must state clearly that if any harm has occurred—or is found to have occurred—to my wife or our unborn child as a result of this incident, I will pursue all available legal remedies without hesitation.nI request that this matter be formally investigated, that appropriate action be taken, and that I be informed of the outcome. No patient—especially a pregnant woman—should be subjected to such treatment.
