Took my wife there because she had never been and was looking for some natural items to decorate for fall. Lots of people there on this Thanksgiving Monday but still room enough to not be too piled up on each other. Pretty clean overall and we finished on a path that led to behind the cemetery. She wanted this big leaf down closer to the train bridge but didn't notice the little snake until she got very close it...we left the leaf to not disturb his sun tan.
Quite little gem hidden away from all the traffic and noise of the city. Went for a picnic in the park by the water then walked around the whole park which then circled back to our car which was awesome. My dog loved the dog park as well that was right there. Recommend for sure.
It's a great park, that a lot of people don't know about, as it's not really visible from any major streets, and definitely not springbank road, from which you get to the park.nThere's a kids playground, dog park, river view dock, and lots of green space and trails.
Brand new park this year. Lots of options for the kids and you can walk the Thames trail when they are done. Great area.
