Green T Accounting

We came to Green Tee thinking to support a small business, like we have, instead of a chain like H&R Block. First impressions, not good. The place is shabby and reaks of tobacco smoke. At our 9AM appointment, the accountant looked disheveled and practically asleep. My business partner was talking over the tax needs and I was not impressed with the way the man was listening. He seemed exhausted and unable to comprehend. He didn't seem to have a strong grasp of tax law because he was seemingly dumfounded by our situation. I was actually trying to mouth "Let's leave" but the business partner wasn't catching it! After discussing our situation, he ended up telling us he wouldn't do our taxes by standing up to leave and saying he "is just to busy." He wasted our time and seemed uninterested in helping us from the start. At one point it seemed he thought we were asking him to do something illegal because he sarcastically responded that "he likes being a CPA". As he was leaving the office room I told him this had been a completely unprofessional experience, to which he agreed in saying, "Yes, I know it was." We went down the road to another CPA. They had immediate openings. They found our tax case to be quite simple and COMMON! They helped us out for a decent rate.
