Absolutely love this place, the food is always fresh and delicious with a great assortment for every pallet to choose from. The service has been great every time I’ve been there, Kailey is very attentive, has always replaced my drink before it’s empty, and never once served me an unopened beer. The other server Kennedy is pretty decent too!
Great homemade hamburger patty and thin fries. Nice view of the lake and fun atmosphere. Lots of parking right off highway.
I had club and fries gravy of course and nice to have true club with turkey. Brother had the nester burger and won't be eating for a couple of days...large double patties. Food was great and service was friendly and accommodating. Will make this a regular stop on our summer trips
I stopped in here because of the slim pickings for a Monday afternoon in Nestor Falls. The restaurant was quiet, with a fun Canadian decor: antlers, fishing photos, etc. Yanks are trying to take over by pasting dollar bills everywhere. Anyways, I had a BLT with a small fries and gravy. The sandwich was a perfect size with a good amount of contents. I added small fries to my order - but they were still plentiful. I was not as impressed over the gravy sadly; the gravy didn't have much if any flavor to it, I had to add salt and pepper in abundance to give it some life. The service was fine - I ordered coffee with my meal and she gave me cream but no sugars - I was at thr bar btw. They had a coffee nook off the side, but I wasn't sure if that was for the servers or customers, I ended up snagging some sugar from a table. Anyways, would return, it also appears that they have live entertainment once in awhile. It also looks like this restaurant is quite popular with takeout - there were probably half a dozen orders that were picked up while I was there.
Mmmmmm burgers. Great value - maximum grease for the money. Soggy fries. Lots of flies and a dog running around inside - is that even allowed?! I’d never return in my life.
After two years of waiting to travel back to Canada, we finally made it and stopped at Green’s for dinner. We started out with Snake Bites chicken nuggets that have a delectable dill sauce and just a blast of heat every now and then. We also got their pita bread with spinach and cheese dip, which absolutely was to die for…the dip was heated just perfectly to where the cheese melted over the top of the spinach dip, and the pita triangles were nicely warmed as well. Our main courses consisted of a rack of ribs which were fall-off-the-bone tender and the barbecue sauce was very nicely aromatic. The hamburger sandwich on rye had perfectly cooked onions smothered on top, and both orders had delicious poutine homemade french fries. Our servers Shay and Zonelle I should have verified spelling, my apologies were extremely pleasant and attentive even after a really large group arrived, well done! We will most definitely be back, to this wonderful charming restaurant.
We visited here twice during our trip to the Nestor Falls area. The first night was Walleye night Friday. The fish was really good and the fries and gravy helped complete the meal. Watch your head as you walk to the lake side tables... you can bump your head!! We really liked the bear wearing a mask. Thank you for your help, Monte
Great family run business, pizza was awesome! They don’t have delivery, but thanks Tom for getting our pizza to us! Motorcycles at Arrowhead.
The restaurant log building dates back to 1925 and it is still in excellent shape. The ambiance is perfect for a north woods bar and eatery. The food was delicious and plentiful. More than my sister and I could eat! The staff and even other custom ears were friendly and welcoming.
