I came here after being introduced to this restaurant by an old friend. The result was very satisfactory, and the food was very good and fresh. The waitress are kind and friendly. Although the place is It's a little small, but it has this warmth and Japanese style. Of course, if you really come to this restaurant, you'd better come early, or else you may have to wait in line. Wait a minute, but it’s all worth it. I especially like their one-person combo.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at your restaurant. Especially the salmon sushi, very delicious! We also chose the set meal and overall we were very satisfied. However, we found the sauce to be a bit too much and could perhaps be reduced to better highlight the freshness of the sushi. But I think I will come back to try other sushi.
Long waits even on a weekday? Not worth it at all. I don’t understand why this place has good ratings. We ordered the aburi platter, pork gyoza, and tuna & salmon sashimi. It’s nothing like the Burnaby location—this was the worst sushi and sashimi I’ve had in Metro Vancouver. The fish had an overwhelming fishy smell, the sizes were tiny, and the combinations in the aburi sushi were just bizarre. The gyoza was decent, but that’s the only positive. The atmosphere and service were fine, but it doesn’t make up for the food. Skip this place.
First time coming here. I had today’s special and the sushi was really good. However, the leaf was missing from my plate. It would be great if I could try the leaf too. I will come back again for the food.
Been coming here for 8 years now and still my favorite sushi spot in Vancouver. Always amazing food.
