We love the Green House! When we order lunch from there for the office for takeout they get everything perfect every time! They really have great food. Also when we wanted to bring lunches to Munson workers they opened up early just to make the meals for us to pick up. They are top-notch folks.
I am honored to be able to patronize local restaurants during these hard times, but today I was disappointed. After enjoying many meals at the restaurant my wife and I ordered carryout. The french onion soup was so salty neither of us could finish it and the cherry chicken sandwiches were equally sweet with the same result.
Cute place for breakfast. We went on a Sunday and they only serve breakfast. My husband had the eggs Benedict, which he liked a lot. Price was very reasonable for Traverse City. It's actually one of the cheapest breakfast places we've been to.
While the eggs Benedict was picture perfect, our food was under seasoned. My husband's biscuits and gravy was a microwaved meal and it tasted like chili.. it wasn't the occasional bite, it was the whole meal, which leads me to believe that they did not wash their dishes properly, since they microwaved it in another dish.
Lots of vegan/vegetarian options with gluten free buns too. Friendly service. Not crazy about bagged chips but it was nice not to smell the fried food smell.
The food tastes like a microwave food. The hash potatoes are so burnt, I can't have more than one bite.
