So excited for 2022! I love cheese and the people that make it. Been in Swiss Singers for a few years and waiting for its return! Pa learned to make cheese in Sommeri, Switzerland and Grandma learned to be an accountant in Bern! The parade is always great, but I hope to see more this year. Find out when you can set up a chair and do it early!
it’s a great event getting the whole family together just the line for cheese curds and cheese tent were really long. Quiet a phenomenon!
Great family-friendly event for anyone to attend and no cost to cheese days on the square. Spend your money on cheese curds.
This happens every other year and it a great time! Everyone should go at least once in their lifetime if they like cheese or beer.
Great Festival. Every other year even numbered years food, food, food, music, cheese tent, beer, and a wonderful time. Make hotel reservations way in advance. One year in advance is recommended big turnout, lots of people, but not too crowded. Craft fair, antique shops, and Minhaus Brewery tours don't miss the tour. Have been going there for 25 yrs. Try not to miss this fest. Lots of FUN
Suite downtown square with a beautiful building in the center. Great places to eat all around the square.
Went last year. It's awesome. I'll be going again. Lines calm down after a few hours. You should buy cheese curd tickets ahead of time if you can. Usually radio shack has them.
2018 cheese days was a wonderful time, plenty of amazing food and drinks, my kid greatly enjoyed the carnival and kids street activities. I think it suits all ages and what bands I did hear were good.
Was my first time for cheese days. Fair prices on most things. I liked shopping at flea markets. The hyped up cheese curds were all but inaccessible unless you had a magic ticket. The reason for the 3 star rating. I passed on them for the normal fair style which I enjoyed.
Cheese Days is such a fun experience, you have to go at least once! Yes, it is crazy busy with up to 100,000 people in a little town with a population of only 10,000... but it's a biannual festival that people love so very much. Expect the lines and embrace the craziness of it all - you won't be disappointed! There's so much history, check out the main stage during the day for polka music, accordions, alphorns and yodeling. There is a cow milking contest too! Also a kids area and carnival. Amazing food all the way around the Historic Square!! Run the Cheese Days Chase 5K or 10K to burn calories before you enjoy the scrumptious one of a kind Optimist Cheese Curds! And don't forget to finish your weekend with the Cheese Days Parade! We hope that you will come visi Green County Cheese Days. Mark your calendar for the 3rd weekend in September every even numbered year!
