Place gets busy, but tables seem to be available. Staff will consistently check up on you to ensure your accommodations are met. Definitely order the cold spread sampler to start. If you love seafood try the grilled octopus not the small ones it's cooked to perfection. Portions are generous so come hungry. You absolutely have to order dessert even if you take it togo. It's unbelievable.
Authentic Greek restaurant. There are tons of seafood dishes, some kabob dishes, and gyros for you to choice from. Along the way, there is a good list of white and red wines for you to pick from. The portion is forward the small size, you will need about 1 .5 dishes per person. The service staff is friendly. Overall, not a bad place to try out.
Went here with the husband. Had the three dips spread and it was great. The fries were amazing. I had chicken kababs and it was also good with their side of potatoes. Just a but oily for me. My husband got a chicken that came with legs and thigh and he wasn’t a fab of it.
We had a party of 11 and the wait staff was really excellent! Appetizers, main dishes, bar drinks, and desserts were all thoroughly enjoyed. It was a little strange though that they would not let us make a 5pm reservation with this large of a group. Yet when we were waiting at the bar for the rest of our party to arrive, we heard them call for a reservation for a party of 12.
I understand you think it’s great… but it isn’t. Being a Mediterranean born and knowing this type of cuisine very well, I was disappointed ok so many levels here. My stars are actually for the professionalism in fixing a total mess in the credit card transactions. We were 6 ppl and everyone tried from each other except the dessert… am trying to avoid some sugar intake here so anyways… in general I was disappointed in the lack of taste on the dishes. Then we were really unlucky with the service. We had a very frustrated angry waiter that was very unpleasant to deal with. He was so frustrated an angry that he messed up completely the credit card payments. A few days later I checked and was charged the full amount of the lunch even though we split the bill. Luckily the person there not sure of it was the manager, owner or what, was quick and efficient and reimbursed the extra they charged. ‍ oh well… I guess I will have to wait to be back in the Mediterranean Sea to get the full taste of this cuisine. Am not coming back. But it was absolutely packed when we left. I guess lunch merged with dinner.
Everything we ordered tasted great. Chicken and beef shish kabob with Greek potato on the side, 1/2&1/2 Gyro with Vegetarian Moussaka and lastly Galaktoboureko - phyllo dough with custard . Lovely experience!
My girlfriend took me out for my birthday and I was craving some delicious saganaki cheese so I've decided to head over to Greek Islands and boy it was sooooo good! We had our flaming saganaki cheese of course over some delicious bread and butter. I ordered the grilled calamari which came with one Greek potato and rice with red sauce. I also had a glass of wine. Everything was delicious as always and service was amazing. Ivan our server was wonderful. Everything is delicious as always and my go to place for some authentic Greek food!
Update: Visited again for dinner. Got a daily special and it was good. They are always excellent with the service and food. It was loud but it was because people were having a great dining experience. Delicious food, good bread, grilled octopus was delicious! Everyone enjoyed the meal. Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian mousaka! Oh so yummy
Absolutely the best Greek food around! We had a great waiter named Tony, really nice guy and very attentive! The saganaki, octopus and moussaka were really delicious! Features: No COVID policies anymore except the staff all still had to wear masks which I found ridiculous when the waiting area was shoulder to shoulder packed with people and no masks. They are the ones working let them have a choice.
