Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

Very picky when it comes to Chinese food. Great Wall has been great. Not too greasy like a lot of places in the area. We'll priced, friendly staff, quick and hot! Great portion sizes. The only complaint I have. Is they keep their big bowl of cooked fried rice in a big bowl on a metal shelf about 2 inches off the floor. This is the rice they use in their dishes throughout the day. I'd like to see this moved as it had got to be a health board issue being that close to the floor. And it's quite a turn off. Fix this and you get my return business and 5 stars.

Anyone who says The Great Wall Chinese Restaurant offers amazing food has obviously never ate at a good establishment. My favourite place is in Niagara Falls, but we moved and are stuck eating from here if we want something fast. I ordered beef with mushrooms. At the other place I normally order it's only beef, mushrooms and a tad bit too much gravy. But here they throw in 80% other vegetables (snap peas, carrots, etc.) Maybe 5% beef and the rest mushrooms. Was a huge disappointment. It tasted okay, but I've had better for a few cents cheaper. I also ordered chicken balls with sweet and sour sauce. I have never seen chicken balls like what Great Wall offers. They're tiny, bite sized chicken balls. They taste pretty good, but can't help but think I'm paying more for extra batter. Their chicken fried rice was okay. The rice doesn't taste 100% fresh unfortunately. It was okay at best. Overall I was very disappointed with our usual meal combo ordered for the first time from Great Wall Chinese Restaurant.

Awesome food and very quick service. Food is excellent quality for a small place in a strip plaza. Definitely try the Shanghai Noodles.

Best Chinese! General Tao chicken is the best I've had! Fresh and fast

Wonton's egg role's and most of there meals are made fresh. Almost a McDonalds type atmosphere only with oriental cuisine.
