I am so grateful for LT. Byrd. LT. goes out of his way to make sure the people in this jail get access to resources they may need. I know that the changes that are taking place in the county jail are for the better, and this would not be possible with out him. Thank you to all the officers who are involved. You are appreciated.
Out of all my encounters with law enforcement, by far the best. Had a tire blow out in the middle of nowhere, no cell reception... thought we were screwed. Sherriff shows up to save the day within minutes and was clearly happy to do so. I didn't catch his name, but seriously nicest officer ever. Thank you Grays Harbor Sheriffs!
My experience with the grays harbor sheriff department has been nothing but pleasant. I recently applied to get my concealed carry permit and there was an issue with my background check. The undersheriff and the clerk's did an outstanding job they went above and beyond to resolve the issue for me and I couldn't be more grateful or proud to have them on our team. so thank you Grays harbor sheriff's department for being there to protect and serve our great community
They do a great job despite the fact they have to deal with the less than desirable population on a daily basis. They do a tough, stressful and dangerous job for not nearly enough pay. We are happy that they have stepped up to serve our community. They deserve more.
Their animal control is a joke. ACO Pollard apparently investigated SEn Rescue Sanctuary we got our 4 month old puppy from.When we received Ellie she was already sick with Consolidated Pneumonia/Bordetella and Mycoplasma. When I contacted ACO Pollard she said oh, I’ve never had a problem there. Sally Newberry she has always been very upfront with me. Well she may be “upfront” with her but she’s not upfront with the people she adopts her dogs out to. We were told she was vaccinated from kennel cough and dewormed, but somehow she contracted BOTH of these things. The last time I looked falsifying records is a criminal offense ACO Pollard. So if you want something criminal there it is! Falsified records! I guess if you want to getaway with unfair treatment of animals head to this county, because ACO Pollard takes the cake on being so relax on her standards on what is and isn’t criminal.
Have had to call them several times since moving here unfortunately, and found both the deputies and dispatch to be professional and courteous. Coming from Snohomish county, it’s a tremendous improvement. They’ve got an incredibly difficult job and to even do it adequately is greatly appreciated.
The men and women who work for this establishment aren't respectable in the slightest. I have tried to report sexual assault, sexual harassment, identity theft, and fraud to these officers. They act like none of it is a crime. I have so much to say, but can boil it down to 1 thing. Ice Cube said it best.
You guys are doing a great job! Don't listen to the abusive negative ranting jerks! Even when I get speeding tickets, the police officers have consistently been cute, polite, and professional!
A tough job done by good people. Thank-you for your service to our community!
