I can’t quite give it 5 stars but I will say that I will be back. I got the newton which is basically a platter of delicious smoked meats. The chicken was delicious but a little bit on the dry side.. the turkey was freaking awesome and the pulled pork was surprisingly dry. Brisket was so good. Also if you’re looking for fast service this is the place to go. Good and clean family place and also the the beer selection is actually pretty top notch as far as my favorite beers. Definitely recommend for good times and good food

Always love eating Gravity! Usually we get the Newton's Law to go, but today we are at the restaurant. The meat is always smoky and fantastic. The coleslaw is tangy, not bland. They have a huge selection of beers on tap, including some ciders, which I appreciate. I always suggest Gravity for local barbeque!Food: 5/5
Wrote a not so positive review and I'm also noticing that others who have posted pretty much the same comments are not getting any type of response from the company. We spent close to $75 for two people and did not even take home the leftover food. Very bland, dry and the turkey was also very undercooked and still pink. Sides are better left not even ordered. The beans are definitely not seasoned and many were very hard. Definitely will not be returning and hoping the company takes the negative reviews and is able to turn the restaurant around.
Great meat! Awesome service! Prices are super reasonable and the portions are big. The meat is phenomenal! Can't believe they can make turkey breast melt in your mouth. Brisket was terrific. I like the level of smoke they use, not too overpowering. Need to work on the sides, imo. Beans were a bit hard, but good flavor. Mac n cheese is decent, but not the best. Slaw was the worst of my sides, no flavor and dry. They are still new, so cutting a little slack there. Hopefully they get better! I'll be back.
Seems my review was deleted. We ordered take out boxes for our entire shop. Lost alot of potential customers being less than 2 miles away and nearly 1000 people. Beans undercooked and too much flavor/soupy. Mac n cheese tasted like boiled noodles with no flavor and and barley any cheese, again zero crispy edges, no bread crumbs just underwhelming to say the least. Pork was ok but zero signs of any bark. Sauce seemed like everything else i have had. Hopefully they can do better. Unfortunately i wont be trying again on my dime.
Staff is very friendly we had quick service and amazing food. I ordered the brisket Mac and cheese and was not disappointed, and they give you all of their sauces to try.
Been here a handful of times, seems inconsistent in terms of food. Sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s not so great . I ordered Lean brisket and got a plate of nothing but fat. It hardly looked edible . Overall though it’s a alright place to visit, nice beer selection. Hopefully you catch them on a good day.
I work for Aspen Lakes Estates as a leasing agent, and we ordered Pulled pork, Mac and cheese and a keg for our tailgate party. The Food was delicious, and we loved the sauces that came with it. It was a highlight of the party! We were very thankful for the convenience of ordering the catering and picking it up. I recommend Gravity as the best BBQ spot in south Lansing!
Decided to stop by on a Sunday afternoon to give them a try. We were greeted quickly and taken to a nice table. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a BBQ restaurant. I would expect it would be very noisy on a full capacity evening. The waitress was terrific, as was the whole staff. The food came out faster than expected, which was great, but the Mac and cheese was cold. The six choices of BBQ sauce were excellent, each in their own way. I will be stopping by again to try the sausage as they were sold out.
