The architectural beauty is complimented by high-quality, professional theatre sound and lighting equipment. This combination of new-meets-old makes for a very unique and special concert and theatre experience.
The stunning Gravenhurst Opera House is situated in the heart of downtown Gravenhurst; the Gateway to Muskoka. Featuring arts & cultural programming year-round, this historic gem is credited for having been home to the birth of summer theatre in Ontario.
With over a century of great entertainment, the Gravenhurst Opera House prepares for Summer 2015 as they launch into the 81st Season of Summer Theatre in Muskoka. With an impressive lineup that includes over 100 performances, this is going to be one of the most spectacular summers ever for the Opera House!
With a seasonally-rotating art gallery, weekly meetings for the Rotary Club and local BIA Group, comedy festivals, film nights, regular performances by the Muskoka Concert Association, Just 4 Kicks Dance Academy and Dragonfly Theatre Productions - just to name a few, the Opera House is home to a diverse spectrum of cultural programming located directly in the heart of downtown Gravenhurst.
The Box office is open Tuesday - Saturday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. On performance days, the Box Office remains open up until and shortly after show-time.
