I found myself stranded in Polaris (long story), and I'm so glad I stumbled upon the Grasshopper Inn. The people there were so welcoming and helpful. The rooms have everything you'd need for a great start and finish to your next wilderness getaway, and the food at the restaurant (with well-stocked bar) was outstanding.

One of Montana's best kept secrets. Been going there off and on for about 20 some odd years. As close to heaven as you'll get.
