Step into the past with a visit to the historic Monticello Hotel. Now an apartment building, you can visit the attached restaurant, Grant's, for some seriously tasty eats. I had the french dip and the lemon curd cake served with fresh whipped cream. Heavenly. Staff are friendly and helpful. Masks currently required.

A clean place with great history. You can have one of the staff tell you about Al Capone's bar that is located there!

Best old fashioned I've ever had, superb service, delicious food.  Yep, you should try it...you will be glad you did.

Now apartments. This hotel was one of the first buildings built in longview when Robert Long founded this town. Truly a work of art in the lobby. Was surprised to find out its now apartments. Amazing

Management has completed a wonderful regeneration of the Monticello. We had a wonderful time, courteous service and a meal that will have another there. Thanks to serving staff and cook. Will be back !!!  For sure 5 stars.
