We reserved the private room for 40 people. The room was bright and spacious with easy access. The service was top notch; everything came out quickly, hot and delicious! Our drinks were refilled in a timely fashion and the tables were kept clear! I highly recommend it for a gathering place!
Pretty standard BBQ Spot in terms of decor and overall vibe. Pros: our server was incredible. He provided extra drinks to our table, accommodated my mothers food allergy, and split me and my husband's drink into two cups we like to share A beer on occasion. The Reuben was amazing, but I'd recommend extra sauce on the side. The fish and chips were STELLAR with the tarter sauce. Cole slaw was meh, along with the kids steak and fries. The BBQ beef was good and paired well with the mac and cheese. We had a dark beer. It was smooth and tasted good. I was surprised that as a brewery there were so few brews, but we were happy with our drink.
Ok, so this place was added to our stops after learning about it. We had already eaten at Dark horse... but the food here sounds so good that I want to go back. They also have brunch. It has a nice look in a downtown building with big arches. It's also a distillery but it's all from their other location in Jackson. We tried the whiskey and agave. Both were smooth and $29 for a fifth. There is a kids menu.
This is a neat distillery / brewery in Marshall, Michigan. The bar tender was great and her recommendations were good. We had the Rueben fritters and they are excellent. My wife had a spring fling old fashion. Made with lavender honey It was excellent.
Had an amazing dinner there last night. Service was spot on. April and Brandon were awesome, attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Food was fresh and tasty. Couldn't ask for better. Will be back!
Only came in for drinks. Unfortunately they had to remake our drinks. It was a specialty drink that was similar to a Spanish Coffee. They used an old pot of coffee the first time. It was good but pricey. I would come back to try their food. Very welcoming atmosphere and cool building. But once again on the more pricey side for their menu.
Great service, great food, great drinks. If you like the brewery experience this is a good one. They even have liquor and great food.
Stopped here on our way to northern MI 6/30. First of all was surprised to learn they don’t brew anything on site, since it’s called a ‘brewery’. Food was so-so, I had the fish & chips & hubs had the quesadilla- $13 for veggie version. I was looking at the Cobb salad but then looked at the price … $19 too much for a bar salad. Everything seemed clean & staff friendly. I wanted to ask about the spirits for sale when you walk in by the host stand but server never stayed long enough to ask about it. Probably would have bought some to bring north.
Awesome burgers, beautiful historic building, very nice people. A bit spendy but worth it. Pretty quiet in the early Spring we preferred it to the opposite vibe at Dark Horse. And they actually have something other than beer to drink. Even the bathroom was cool! Go there!
We really enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff. Our food has always been excellent. Very clean.
